Due to advancing years and declining health we have been forced to make this unexpected decision.
We are very sorry to announce that we are now closed for business, for good. After 38 years in the business we have taken the difficult decision to retire on a high note. We are very sorry to cause any disappointment and we would like to thank everyone for your good will, support and kind words over the last 19 years at Inshriach.
We would also like to extend a huge thank you to all our wonderful staff who have supported us over the years and gave of their time and energy.
Stay tuned for further updates regarding our plans.
Our rustic old potting shed was converted into a tearoom and served tea, coffee and freshly homemade cakes between 2001 and 2017.
Situated in the heart of the Cairngorn National Park, just outside Aviemore, this was the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful woodland highlands of Scotland.
Our customers enjoyed a nice hot beverage in peaceful environment whilst watching the red squirrels and woodpeckers in our viewing gallery. We had a large selection of homemade cakes, made on the premises by hand, everyday and we also had a range of wheat free (gluten free) cakes as well!
We had a wildlife viewing area where you can see woodpeckers and red squirrels, not mention a large variety of birds.
In 2017, John and Gunn Borrowman retired and the business down scaled to the self catering, which they continue to operate.
